FCI CLASSIFICATION. Group 1 Shepherds and shepherd dogs.
APPLICATION. The Belgian Shepherd was bred and used as a sheepdog. It is now a versatile service dog with excellent protective, protective and exploratory qualities. Often kept as a family dog and a companion dog.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS. Belgian Shepherd - strong, muscular, dry. Her body is harmoniously composed, the lines are smooth and graceful. Dogs are well tolerated by temperature changes and weather changes in different climatic zones. The Belgian Shepherd gives the impression of elegance, strength and power due to the high position of the head and the harmony of form. In the ring, the malinois is evaluated in a natural position and without the physical assistance of a handler.
